This is embroidery completed on a Viking caftan. It was done with two shades of yellow wool with the center animal done in gray wool in the Mammen Style. It was entirely completed in stem stitch. Entered in Ice Dragon Novice Pentathalon 2007.

This is the first tunic I ever made. It is, alas, machine sewn and made from cotton. However, I am still proud of the Mammen masks embroidered around the neckline. This was made in exchange for a pair of Viking shoes made by my then future husband.
